I am officially on my off season prep until 2025 and enjoying sometime in the metro area with my hubby I learned about and began to follow the @elmstreetdiner before I arrived and decided if I could make it there I would to see what this place is all about. Well... This place - DOES NOT DISAPPOINT!!! If you are a "dessert-lover", which I am, this place is a MUST! Anyone who knows me knows 2 things about me. 1-I choose my restaurants most of the time based on their dessert menu. 2-I don't share my desserts There were 3 types of dessert towers I was fascinated with but chose the smaller of the 3. (If you can believe that watching my video...)This one also included 2 donuts but I'm not a donut person so I asked not to add the donuts to the tower. AND I was going to break rule #2 because there was no way I was going to finish this by myself so I recruited my husband to join me. I think the video and photos speak for themselves on how delicious and how well we deconstructed this masterpiece. They also serve delicious food as well. We did have brunch before dessert and it was delicious The manager (in photo) and staff are so friendly and very upbeat and this place has a great vibe. Great place and worth the trip! I would definitely go there again Until next time @elmstreetdiner and thank you so much for the incredible food and incredible experience #offseason #elmstreetdiner #dessert #desserts #dessertporn #dessertlover #stamford #stamfordct #wheninrome #untilnexttime#chocolatecake #chocolatelover #dessertsofinstagram #dessertlover #ferrarorocher #nutella #milkshakes #cupcakes #desserttowers
Elm Street Restaurant is a great choice for brunch. The trilled corned beef hash is a standout dish, and the overall food quality is high. The inviting atmosphere enhances the brunch experience, though it might be a bit on the expensive side. If you're looking for a tasty and enjoyable brunch spot, it's definitely worth a try.
We arrived closer to noon so explains the line outside the door and it timed about a 30-minute wait. I've never been before so I didn't know what to expect besides what I had seen on Instagram at least a year ago and without prior research. Guests were coming out the door frequently so the line moved pretty quickly. I wasn't originally sure about any handicap entrance until I saw the lift on the side. It's almost unnoticeable unless you knew it was there or really staring at it while waiting. I would've missed it had there been no wait times. The restaurant was much larger than I thought it would be in the inside. The whole place was lined with booths and there were some that was mixed with chairs and booths or tables with chairs. The decor was definitely eye catching and well thought of. Since the line was truly out the door and I wanted to be conscious of our time, asked how long we get to dine and we were told 60 minutes really, however they'd work with us. For that much time, we got ourselves bottomless mimosas for 1-hr. We also got our food and dessert for maybe a little more than an hour. We were not rushed at all. Our server Allan was fantastic! He's very friendly and did spend a few more minutes with us while I asked questions about the establishment, when they're busy and when's the best time to visit. I love savory foods and I guess I wanted to try something else so I asked for recommendations and ended up getting the Fried Chicken Brunch Pancake Taco. The pancake canceled out the saltiness so I wasnt able to enjoy is as well as I thought. I was a little sad that it wasn't hitting my craving. The dish was great though. It was plated well too. I also got to try the Cheesesteak Egg Rolls. Chefs kiss! I loved the chipotle ranch sauce it came with. You can have it with or without and it still tasted excellent. I also got to try the Jumbo Fried Shrimp. It came with fries and coleslaw. And last but not least, the donuts. I took those to go and well... all I can say is, eat them when they're fresh. The Cinnamon Toast Crunch wasn't so crunchy anymore after a whole day. I had a great time. Food was enjoyable. Everything is aesthetically pleasing. The service was great! And the wait wasn't too long.
I had a great time trying out Elmer Street Diner at their Stamford location. Despite a bit of a wait at the door, the line moved quickly, and we had a smooth experience getting in. To fully enjoy the experience, I'd recommend visiting on a weekday, like Wednesday, when you can take your time since they close at 2 PM. Although I'm not a fan of rushing through a meal, our server was attentive and made sure we were well taken care of. Overall, I was very satisfied with the visit
Short or no line on a weekday! Service is always pretty good. The coffee is decent, and the portions are good! The He-Man is a great breakfast option. And, the create your own omelette is a good buy! Home fries need a bit more seasoning. Love the decor and open space.
Great place, fast service and great food! Place was moving fast. Very clean, I was impressed by it! The desserts and shakes looked amazing!
The restaurant is loopy to get into if you walk from a local hotel. The door that Google takes you to is locked. The driveway to cut through has a chain link fence and you can't walk through. You have to walk through the donut shop parking lot on the corner. It's tucked away in the back. I can't imagine parking if I drove. The server who greeted me was very nice. I didn't wait, sat right down. The woman who delivered my food was also very friendly. The man who took my order seems bothered. No smile with zero expression. The ambiance is super cute. Dessert fridge that look yummy, shake station.... My food was perfect and the coffee delicious! I would give a five star if I actually felt comfortable with the waiter. He never came back to fill up my coffee. I had to flag him down.....also need to ask for the check.....
Ordered the 2 eggs breakfast: scrambled, with bacon and turkey sausage & the brunch panini- really solid breakfast. They also gave us complimentary donuts! Yummy food & super friendly staff but really long wait time.
